Customs
officials from Latin America and the Asian Pacific gathered Thursday in
the Panamanian capital to strengthen cooperation in facilitating the
flow of trade and bolstering security.
The conference,knives wholesaler dubbed "Dialogue of Customs Leaders from the Asian Pacific and the Americas: Efficient and Secure Trade for Shared Prosperity,Vintage bath fixtures" drew representatives from more than 100 customs agencies in 54 countries.
The
two-day event was organized by the Inter-American Development Bank
(IDB), the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the World Customs
Organization (WCO).carbon sheets
Participants
are set to discuss new ways of exchanging information through the
so-called Single Window concept, and find out about training and
result-gauging programs implemented by customs authorities.Crushing equipment

will also discuss ways to promote alliances between the public and
private sectors, evaluate the obstacles to implementing the Authorized
Economic Operator (AEO) programs and Mutual Recognition Agreements
(MRA), and the need to encourage integrated coordination along borders.Spring cone crusher

talks are being co-chaired by WCO Secretary General Kunio Mikuriya, ADB
Director of Regional Cooperation Ying Qian and Antoni Estevadeordal,
manager of integration and trade at the IDB.
In
2011, ADB and IDB signed a South-South Cooperation program to share
knowledge and maximize the effectiveness of their agencies' projects in
both regions.
The
two regional development banks also signed a Memorandum of
Understanding with the WCO to encourage stronger partnership and spur
greater synergy to facilitate global trade and ensure greater trade
security.
