Product Review – Carinya Scales

First of all, I wanted to say a BIG thank you to Tableking for awarding me the chance to review the very exciting new addition to my kitchen; the Carinya 10kg Digital Kitchen scales.

I am ashamed to say that prior to receiving these from Tableking, I had never owned a set of kitchen scales in the time that I had been living on my own (around 6-7years), For a long time I had been estimating the measurements based purely on sight or the markings on the side of the butter packaging, all the while wondering why my recipes and baking never turned out the way it was meant to… Even the old trusty Betty Crocker cookies never came out quite right.

The first thing you notice when you open the box is just how sleek the scales look.Water pump They are very aesthetically pleasing to the eye and to your kitchens’ appearance overall. The model is sturdy and does not slip on your bench when, if you are like me, make a HUGE mess when cooking.

I just LOVE the touch screen tempered glass feature. It is quite sensitive and you do not need to worry about having to repeatedly try and action certain functions.

With the ability to select from several measurements units including gm’s, mls and mg’s and of course up to 10kgs, the scales are very versatile. They can be used for a wide variety of cooking needs from measuring out small amounts of herbs to checking that woolworths online really did send you 3.2kgs of chicken breasts and 200gms of semi-dried tomatoes, you are well equipped.

Which brings me to reassure you that the scales are very accurate. I counter-checked a few measured items on my grandmothers scales which she entrusts her life on and there was very little to no difference at all.

I am thrilled to display these in my kitchen and have already recommended as well as Tableking to several of my friends and family. My only advice is to read the instructions. Whilst they are very simple to use, for someone like myself who is still quite a novice in the kitchen,Alkaline battery I found I was able to make full use of all the features once I understood how to navigate the options.

Thanks again to Tableking for these wonderful scales..Button cell I now feel more confident to progress past Betty Crocker into the real world of cooking.
